At this year’s graduation ceremony, All Saints Catholic School proudly introduced a new and meaningful tradition: the St. John Baptiste de La Salle Award, named after the patron saint of teachers.
The St. John Baptist de La Salle Award will be presented annually to a member of the All-Saints Catholic school staff whose service and leadership embody the values of faith, excellence, and dedication to the mission of Catholic education.
This year, we are honored to present the award to Laura Wrinn, a master teacher, compassionate mentor, and visionary leader. Laura has made the most significant contribution to the life of our school community during the 2024–2025 academic year.
As the leader of our Buddy Program, Laura has nurtured meaningful connections across grade levels, fostering a spirit of unity, support, and Christian friendship among our saints and scholars. Her leadership has strengthened our school culture and deepened the sense of belonging for all.
In addition, Laura has spearheaded a transformative initiative to position 5th grade as a transition year, thoughtfully preparing our scholars for the shift to upper school and their introduction to the All-Saints House System. Through her mentoring of scholars and tireless commitment, she has ensured that our rising 6th graders are not only academically prepared, but also spiritually and socially equipped to thrive in their next stage.
Above all, Laura consistently manifests the Catholic identity of All Saints in both her professional role and personal life. She lives the Gospel values with authenticity, humility, and joy—serving as a witness to the faith and a daily inspiration to colleagues, students, and families alike.
Laura embodies the legacy of St. John Baptist de La Salle—guiding with wisdom, teaching with heart, and serving with humility. Her work this year has left a lasting impact on our school community, and we give thanks for the gift of her vocation.
Mrs. Wrinn’s legacy is one of deep compassion, unwavering dedication, and a joyful spirit that has touched the hearts of hundreds of students. Her classroom is a place of warmth, laughter, and learning—a space where each child is seen, valued, and inspired to grow. Her deep faith, sense of humor, and genuine love for her students have left an indelible mark on our school.
