All Saints is located on a 5-acre campus, with playing fields and a full outdoor track. Inside, students enjoy state-of-the art computer labs, a library and media center, chapel, auditorium, cafeteria, and rooms for art, science and music.
ASCS serves the parishes of Norwalk and Westport, CT and is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. We welcome inquiries from prospective families.
All Saints Catholic School is committed to providing an education that strives to enable students to love God and supports the development of body, mind, spirit and service to others.
The philosophy of All Saints Catholic School flows from the school’s position in the Roman Catholic Church. The School perceives its serious obligation to provide a Christian and intellectually stimulating environment in which the students are guided to develop their highest potential.
We believe that each member of our school community is a unique person whose abilities and gifts, given by God, are to be recognized and developed.
Our curriculum is centered around our faith. Each day begins with prayer and religious instruction and each child has the opportunity to live out their faith through participation in prayer services, monthly class masses in our chapel, as well as school-wide mass celebration.
All Saints Catholic School was established in March of 1990 when Diocese of Bridgeport merged the three Norwalk Catholic elementary schools. On July 1, 1990, the newly formed regional school was officially located in the facility that had been Central Catholic High School.
All Saints Catholic School opened in September 1990 with an enrollment of 515 students in Preschool to Grade 8. With the closing of Assumption School in Westport in June 1991, the Norwalk region expanded beyond the seven parishes in Norwalk to include the two parishes in Westport. All Saints Catholic School became the first Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Bridgeport to be accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in 1994.
Two Boards, each with different functions, insure that the mission of All Saints Catholic School is lived out in a truly caring, Christian environment.
The School Advisory Board is comprised of both alumni, alumni parents, and community members who have been invited to serve on this Board. Members of this Board chair and serve on one or two of the following committees: Finance, Plant & Grounds, Marketing and Technology. This Board has limited jurisdiction.
The Home School Board is comprised of current parents who run and oversee the school’s fundraisers and fun raisers. The primary role of this Board is to implement fundraising activities to meet financial obligations, promote All Saints Catholic School for continuous enrollment and encourage camaraderie among faculty, parents and children.
