What is the Parent Ambassador Program?
The Parent Ambassador Program organizes All Saints Catholic School parents as a part of our outreach and marketing efforts. The program is a flexible way for parents to be involved in positively promoting and representing All Saints Catholic School, is separate from classroom activities, as well as HSA involvement. We are looking for Parent Ambassadors who would like to assist us in the following ways:
What is the purpose of this program?
Our families are star ambassadors, even without a formal program! Word-of-mouth between parents is the best way to promote and share information about All Saints Catholic School. Many school families are here because they were referred to us by another parent. Sometimes parents are more comfortable talking with other parents to share information or ask questions that they would not be comfortable asking an administrator or the Admissions Director.
How will students benefit from this program?
Growing our network and our enrollment ensures that All Saints Catholic School has a prosperous future, which will allow us to bring new resources and enhance our curriculum and our programs.
Who can join the program?
Current ASCS parents are welcome to join. This is a flexible program with many options for participation.
Why should I do this?
You are already doing it! The Parent Ambassador Program harnesses positive communication and provides a more structured way for members of the ASCS community to spread the word about the great work being done at our school.
How much work does it involve?
You decide. You can talk to prospective families, attend events, pass out promotional material, call prospective families, be a Social Media Ambassador, or follow up with new families. How much effort you put into this program is up to you.
What if I don’t know anything about recruitment and marketing?
Don’t worry. We will provide the marketing materials, information, as well as the support and training you need to participate in a time frame and time commitment that is comfortable for you.
Do I need to complete training to participate?
All activities around children and in school require that you complete VIRTUS training. In addition you will receive information from our parent and parish ambassador coordinators.
What happens next?
The information you provided in your form submission will be shared with the ASCS Admissions and Marketing team and a member of the staff will be in touch with you to discuss opportunities that might be a fit with your preference and schedule. Never hesitate to let us know if a certain date or event just won’t work for you. This program is meant to be a flexible and fun way to be involved.
