Health Updates
The flu is running rampant through Connecticut. If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. A child must be fever free for 24 hours in order to return to school. A child must have gone 24 hours without vomiting in order to return to school. Please don't forget to call the school office if your child will be absent. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse, Carol Taylor. The cleaning service is taking extra precaution and is sanitizing more than usual every night. Your consideration for the health and safety of others is greatly appreciated.

Attention 6th Grade Parents
NOW is the time to turn in those 6th grade physicals (or to schedule those physicals)! The blue CT State Health Assessment Record (HAR) form needs to be dated after July 1, 2018. If you have sent in a physical which is dated earlier than that, a new physical will be needed. The earlier ones (although helpful) don't count. 6th grade physicals are required and important!

If a physical is not received by the health office before the end of this school year, your child will be excluded from 7th grade until that is received. Please be sure your child's health care provider has given your child the immunizations needed for entry to 7th grade which include Tdap and Meningococcal. If you have any questions please call me, Carol Taylor, 203-847-3881 ext. 5 or email me I love to hear from parents!

Peer Tutoring
Peer tutoring will be cancelled for the rest of this week.
