A Message from the Principal
 

"Happy Catholic Schools Week!"  This year's theme is "Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed."  

Souper Bowl
Thank you to all who have supported our 26 Acts of Kindness collections throughout the month. Tomorrow begins our annual "Souper Bowl". We will be collecting cans of soup throughout the week and donating them to the local food pantries.Our goal is to collect at least 500 cans of soup!


 
 
Registration Open to the Community
Thank you to all those families who have already returned their registration forms for next year. Registration is now open to the community. You need to secure your spot for next year now. For questions on registration, please contact our Admissions Director, Denise Vuoso (admissions@ascs.net).

Tuition Assistance Information
Every family is a valued member of our school community. Tuition assistance is available to those who apply and qualify  through the Bishop's Scholarship Fund and through All Saints Catholic School grants. A packet of important information concerning tuition, scholarships and school grants was mailed home to every family last week. If you have any questions ,please contact the school office to set up an appointment to meet with me so we can discuss ways to continue to make Catholic education happen for your family.

Harlem Wizards Game-Tickets Going Fast
 
The Harlem Wizards return to All Saints on January 30 at 6:30 PM. Faculty and students will play on the court with the Wizards. Souvenirs and food will be available beginning at 5:30PM.  It's a great show.  Save $7 and buy tickets online until midnight tomorrow night.  After that, tickets will be available at the door. 


Volunteers Needed For Wizards
If you can volunteer at the Harlem Wizards game,  please click here to sign-up. 

Spirit Day This Wednesday-Wear Blue or White
Spirit day is January 30. There will be  activities in the gym in the morning for the students with Mr Fielding.  Students will be wear blue and white shirts. Click here for your class color.

School Mass This Friday
The February school Mass is this Friday, February 1, at 10:00AM.  The celebrant is Fr. Otto from St Joseph Parish in South Norwalk.

Report Cards
Report cards will be distributed to students on Thursday, January 31. Please be sure to sign the report card envelope and return it back to school by Tuesday, February 4.

Also included in your child's report card envelope is the Parent Report for your child's STAR assessments given thus far this year. STAR is a computerized progress monitoring test. It monitors your child's progress in math and in reading. Teachers analyze the data they get from these assessments to learn what students already know and what they are ready to learn next, to monitor student growth, and to determine if a student may need additional help. This is only one measure of your child's performance in school. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Norwalk Public Schools Transportation Survey
The Norwalk Public Schools transportation department has asked us to send you a link to this survey on school start times. The purpose of the survey at this point is to just get some general information about what parents see as priorities, to help inform the work of the NPS School Start Time Committee.

February Break
Just a reminder that February 14 is a vacation day. School is closed on February 14,15, and 18 for Winter Vacation.  Please adjust your calendars. 

Middle School Winter Dance
The Middle School Winter Semi-Formal Dance will be held on Saturday night, February 2, from 7:00 - 9:00pm.  Tickets are now on sale in the office for $10. Info and permission slips can be found on the school's website.
