Happy New Year 2019!

Acts of Kindness
Inspired to spread good in the world after the tragic elementary school shooting in Newtown, All Saints Catholic School  is committed to joining many other schools and communities in performing random acts of kindness in honor of those lives lost . As a school we will participate in a "26 Acts of Kindness Campaign"which will cover 26 school days beginning on January 2.  This week we will be collecting toiletries for Malta House and next week's collection is : used/new coats and jackets.   An "Acts of Kindness" calendar can be found here  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims' families on the sixth anniversary of their death. 

Have you registered your child for next year?
Thank you to all those families who have already returned their registration forms for next year.  The deadline is January 18.  After that time, registration will be open to the community.  You need to secure your spot for next year now. We have had an excellent response to our "Take a Look Tuesday" so far.  Our phone keeps ringing and we are giving tours daily.  For questions on registration, please contact our Admissions Director, Denise Vuoso (

Catholic Schools Week 2019
All Saints Catholic School will join with the other Catholic Schools in the nation in celebrating  "Catholic Schools Week 2019" from January 27 -  February 2. We will have Open House for interested families at our school on Sunday, January  27, from 12pm - 2pm and on Monday  and Tuesday, January 28 - 29 from 8:30am - 10:00am.  We need to get the word out with signs and flyers. Please consider taking some signs  and helping us by putting them  around town and in your neighborhood. Signs and flyers are in the school office. Any questions, please contact Mrs.D'Andrea ( ), our Director of Marketing and Advancement. From the feedback we are receiving, we are anticipating a large turnout.

Winter Weather Reminders
With the winter weather upon us please be certain that your cell phones are close by during the school day and are turned on. This way you will get important notifications in case of dismissal and after school changes during the school day this winter.  Please sure you have a plan in place in case of early dismissal and/or cancellation of after school programs and activities.  

Reminders from the School Nurse
Soon the flu and stomach bugs will be making their way through Fairfield County.  If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. A child must be fever free for 24 hours in order to return to school.  A child must have gone 24 hours without vomiting in order to return to school.  If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse, Carol Taylor.  Your consideration for the health and safety of others is greatly appreciated.

Playground Closed for Winter Season
The playground, small grassy areas and fields are off limits after school until further notice due to the winter weather. Everyone should be going home at dismissal.

Midterm Exams
Midterm exams for middle school students begin on January 10.  Study Guides will be available on January 3.

Save the Date to Skate
Save the date!  All Saints Catholic School invites you and your family for a free day to ice skate on January 21 from 10:40am - 12:00 noon at the Darien Ice House.  This is our gift to you this holiday season to say "thank you" for your cooperation and support throughout the school year.
Save the Date for Harlem Wizards
The Harlem Wizards Game at ASCS this year will be January 30th!  Bring the family.
