Monday News 11/26/18

Congratulations to Jimmy Howe (ASCS '16) and Matthew Rohr (ASCS '16)!  The boys were recently inducted into the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society at Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield. 

Early Dismissal Tomorrow-Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for November 15 and canceled due to the weather have been rescheduled.  The new date is tomorrow, November 27.  Please come at your original scheduled time.  November 27 will be an EARLY DISMISSAL day with the extended day program available for working parents.

Giving Tuesday
 
Tomorrow, November 27, is "Giving Tuesday 2018". Please consider donating a gift to our school during this holiday season. Thank you for your continued generosity to our school.

Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament
The All Saints Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament begins on Wednesday evening. Join us on our home court to cheer on our teams ! Admission is $3 .  Food and drinks are available throughout the tournament which ends on December 9. All information regarding the Holiday tournament can be found on the school website. You may also contact Mr Fielding (mr.fielding@ascs.net
with questions. Our tournament Pep Rally is this Wednesday, November 28, at 10:00AM in the school gym! All are welcome.

Breakfast with Santa

Early Dismissal 12/7-No Extended Day Program
December 7 is an early dismissal day for all students. This is a planned in-service day off campus for all faculty and staff. Dismissal is at 11:30AM for preschool and 11:45AM for grades K-8.  There is NO EXTENDED DAY.  Please make arrangements.  Please be on time for pick up. 

Christmas Concert
Mrs. Brown and the students are busy preparing for our annual Christmas Concert. For middle school boys: the shepherd costume tops will be provided however the boys need to bring in the head piece part of it which consists of the towel and something to keep it on their head with a stretchy headband/sweat band.   
 
Please mark your calendars with these dates and times:
PK3 & 4  Christmas Concert is  December 13, 2018 @ 8:30am.
K-8 Christmas Concert is  December 19, 2018 @12:30pm.  
 
Dress Down Day Themes
The next two Dress Down days have a theme:  December 7 is "Pajama Day" and December 17 is " Christmas/Ugly Sweater Day".
 
Winter Weather Reminders
With the winter weather upon us please be certain that your cell phones are close by during the school day and are turned on. This way you will get important notifications in case of dismissal and after school changes during the school day this winter. Please be sure you have a plan in place in case of early dismissal and/or cancellation of the Extended Day program and other after school activities.
