A Message from the Principal
Thank you to all who volunteered to help make our annual Halloween Dance a success.  A good time was had by all the children.

Halloween Parade
Our Halloween Parade will take place outside on the track on Wednesday, October 31, at 10:45AM.  The children will begin lining up in the school building and walk once around the track at 10:45AM. Parents are invited to the parade. Please go directly to the track outside. (In case of rain, we will have the parade in the gym.) After the parade, the students ONLY will return to the classrooms.

Early Dismissal on Halloween
Halloween is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY. There will be will be NO EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM, no extra help or peer tutoring, no after school sports programs, no clubs and no basketball practices on Halloween. Please be on time for pick up.

Halloween Costumes
All students in grades PK- 8 may wear their costumes to school.  Middle School students may choose to either wear a costume or have a " Black and Orange" Dress Down Day. Be sure that your child's costume is comfortable for them to wear. Costumes need to be appropriate for a Catholic School. Please: NO masks (make up is OK), NO props, NO weapons and NO "skimpy"costumes. 

All Saints Day Mass
All Saints Day, November 1, is the feast day of our school.  It is also a holy day of obligation in the Catholic Church.  Mass (including the "Parade of Saints") is at 10:00AM in the auditorium. The celebrant will be Father David Blanchfield, pastor of St Jerome Parish.Please join us for this special Mass!
Full dress uniform is required for Mass- no gym clothes.  Wear or bring sneakers in the backpack.  

All Saints Open House November 4
"Discover Catholic Schools 2018" !  All Saints will be having an Open House on Sunday, November 4 from 12:00PM - 2:00PM for Grades PreK through grade 8. Please share this information with your family and friends. Applications for NEW student enrollment will be accepted after November 15 for the 2019 - 2020 school year.

Report Cards
The first marking period ends on Friday, November 2.  Report cards will be distributed on November 15-16 at Parent Teacher Conferences.  Tuition needs to be current for your child to receive a report card.  This includes July, August, September and October's tuition payments . All after care balances must also be reconciled.  Your timely payments are necessary for the school to meet its financial obligations. Please contact the school bookkeeper, Patricia Stapleton, if you have any questions. (

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent -Teacher Conferences will be held on Nov 15-16.  There will be early dismissal on both days .  Evening conferences are available on Thursday, November 15 , only.  The after school program will be held as usual.  Please visit the school website to pick up your form to make your appointment for grades PreK through grade 5. Hard copies of the forms will also be sent home in the back packs. There are no appointments for middle school parents. Middle school parents may come in on a drop in basis during conference hours. Any questions in reference to conferences and appointments need to be directed to Michele Cihal, administrative assistant to the principal, in the school office.  She can be reached at 203-847-3881 ( Ext 7).

The Parent Portal will close for grades 5-8  on October 31 while teachers close out the marking period and prepare report cards.

No School November 6
There is no school on Tuesday, November 6.  It is a planned teacher in-service day. Have a great day! Don't forget to get out and vote!

Christmas Concerts
Believe it or not, we are practicing hard for the Christmas concerts. Don't miss them. These are the dates. For all of the costume requirements, please click here. 

PK3 & 4  Christmas Concert is 12/13-2018 @ 8:30am.
K-8 Christmas Concert is 12/19 @ 12:30pm.
Weather Reminders
With lower temperatures upon us, please be sure that your child is adequately dressed for school with a coat or a jacket. We go outside for recess every day ( unless it is raining or snowing) as long as the temperature is above 32°.

The last day for gym shorts is November 2.  Sweat pants are to be worn until spring. Please refer to the school handbook for the physical education dress code.

See everyone on the track for the Halloween Parade!  Pray for sun!
