Early Dismissal on Halloween
Halloween is an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY. There will be will be NO EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM, no extra help or peer tutoring, no after school sports programs, no clubs and no basketball practices on Halloween. Please be on time for pick up.
All students in grades PK- 8 may wear their costumes to school. Middle School students may choose to either wear a costume or have a " Black and Orange" Dress Down Day. Be sure that your child's costume is comfortable for them to wear. Costumes need to be appropriate for a Catholic School. Please: NO masks (make up is OK), NO props, NO weapons and NO "skimpy"costumes.
The teachers will ask for help if they need it. For the most part, they will give their own small celebrations. Please do not send in any treats to school unless you are specifically directed to do so by the teacher or room mothers. Please be respectful of this request. It will help the event flow smoother. Any questions concerning this event please contact the school office.
All Saints Day Mass
All Saints Day, November 1, is the feast day of our school. It is also a holy day of obligation in the Catholic Church. Mass (including the "Parade of Saints") is at 10:00AM in the auditorium. The celebrant will be Father David Blanchfield, pastor of St Jerome Parish. Please join us for this special Mass!
Report Cards and Conferences
The first marking period ends on Friday, November 2. Report cards will be distributed on November 15-16 at Parent Teacher Conferences. Tuition needs to be current for your child to receive a report card. This includes July, August, September and October's tuition payments. All after school balances must also be reconciled. Your timely payments are necessary for the school to meet its financial obligations.
No School November 6
There is no school on Tuesday, November 6. It is a planned teacher in-service day. Have a great day! Don't forget to get out and vote!
According to the weatherman, the cool fall weather has finally arrived. With lower temperatures upon us, please be sure that your child is adequately dressed for school with a coat or a jacket. We go outside for recess every day (unless it is raining or snowing) as long as the temperature is above 32°.
Have a nice week!
