A Message from the Principal
October 1, 2018
Congratulations to Kindergarten student Isabella Ortiz who was chosen to be part of the cast of the 2018 Nutcracker performance with the Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet. Her performance will be on Dec. 15 at the Fairfield University Gonzaga Auditorium.
Fall Festival October 21
Our Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 21 from 12:00-4:00PM on the front lawn. We will have a variety of food trucks, crafters and vendors, a DJ and dancing , a magic show, pony rides and a petting zoo, flowers, pumpkins, games and other surprises! Come join us for lunch, music and fun!

Pink and Denim Day to Support Breast Cancer Research
 
GET YOUR PINK & JEANS ON! Please join the faculty, staff and students of All Saints Catholic School on Friday, October 5, as we participate in Denim Day for the 8th year! All donations will go directly to the American Cancer Society to support Breast Cancer research, free mammograms, intervention and family support services. Our ASCS family has been effected by this horrible disease, and yours might be as well. Together we can make a difference! ONE DAY - ONE CAUSE - ONE CURE!

Requested student donation is $2. All participants will have the opportunity to choose a "thank you" gift in appreciation. Donations can also be made online through our website herewhere you can also view photos from last year's event!
Middle School Harvest Dance
 
The  Middle School Harvest Dance will be held on Saturday, October 13 from  7:00PM- 9:00PM in the school cafeteria. Tickets are now on sale for $10 in the school office. All middle school students  need to have a permission slip (found on the school website) to attend. The event is chaperoned by the administration and parents. There is a dress code so please check the permission slip for details. Any questions, please call the school office. ASCS students only!

Family Halloween Dance

The Family Halloween Dance (grades PK-5) will take place on Friday evening, October 26, at 6:30PM. Information for the evening can be found on the school website.
Christmas Wreath Fundraiser
 
The 8th grade class is selling beautiful quality wreaths, garland and centerpieces. All orders are due by Friday, November 2nd. All orders will be delivered to All Saints the week of November 26th. Just in time for decorating!

New Parent Coffee October 11
 
Join us in the library media center at 8am for coffee. 
Blessing of the Animals
October 4 is the Feast of  St Francis of Assisi.  The Blessing of the Animals will be held at 10:00AM in front of the school. Fr.Sudhir will lead us in prayer .  Please bring dogs on leashes and small animals in carriers if you wish them to be blessed. Rain or shine!
Parent Portal
All fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade parents should be viewing their child's grades on a daily basis on the school's Rediker Parent Plus Portal. The portal serves as the vehicle of communication between you and the teacher. If you have a question about a score on an assessment, please ask your son or daughter about it first, then email the teacher. For those of you new to this system, progress reports are no longer sent to parents. If you are not able to access the school portal, please contact the school office for assistance.
Early Dismissal October 5
October 5 is an early dismissal day for all students. This is an in-service day for the faculty. Dismissal is at 11:30AM for preschool and 11:45AM for grades K-8. Please be on time for pick up. The extended day program will be available for working parents until 5:45 PM. 
October School Mass
The October School Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 10, at 10:00AM.  The Mass will be led by grade 8. Please be sure your children are in their full dress uniforms.  If they have PE classes, please pack their sneakers in a bag or have them wear them from home.
Calendar Reminders
School is in session on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8. We follow the Norwalk Public Schools when it comes to federal holidays.
