A Message from the Principal

Welcome to a new school year! It was great to see everyone last week!  I hope that all of you had a pleasant summer and are ready for some learning. We are looking forward to a very special school year ahead.

Welcome Back Picnic
Our school is having a "Welcome Back Family Picnic" this coming Sunday, September 9 , from 12:00pm - 2:30pm on the school grounds.  We'll supply the food and you bring your blankets and chairs! Check here for details. Please RSVP to let us know if you are coming so we can prepare!

Opening School Mass
Mass will be celebrated at our school on Tuesday, September 11, at 10:00 am.  The celebrant will be Msgr Walter Orlowski, pastor of St Matthew Parish in Norwalk. We ask God's  blessings on the new school year and remember the victims of 9/11 and their families.

Back to School Night 9/13
Our annual "Back to School Night" and Home School Association Meeting will be held on Thursday,  September 13, at 7:00 pm.  We look forward to sharing our goals and expectations for the new school year. Please plan to join us!

Clubs and Sports Sign-Ups
Visit our school website for information on sports and club sign- ups.  There are many fun activities to choose from this year!  Registration is open online.

Emergency Forms Due Tomorrow
Thank you to all those families who have returned their Emergency Forms and Handbook Sign Off Forms back to school on time. If you have not returned your forms,  please do so tomorrow.

Volunteers Needed
The school needs volunteers. All volunteers need to be Virtus trained.  A Safe Environments Training Session will be offered at our school on Saturday, September 22, at 9:00 am.  If you wish to volunteer in any capacity at our school, this is a requirement.  This training has been set up especially for our parents. Please attend if you need to be there.

Thank You
Thank you to the Knights of Columbus, parents and students who got the playground ready for the new school year!

Have a wonderful week!  The teachers and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
God bless!
