A Message from the Principal
Thank you to all those who contributed to make "Teacher Appreciation Week" such a huge success. The food, gifts and prizes were truly amazing.  A BIG THANK YOU from the faculty and staff of ASCS!

Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to paint the bleachers on Saturday
. It looks great!

Thursday, May 10 is Ascension Thursday.  It is a holy day of obligation. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM.

Special Angels Day
Join us for Special Angels Day (formerly known as Grandparents Day) this Friday, May 11, 2018. This year's Angels Day will be for grades Preschool through grade 5 only. May 11 is also an early dismissal day. Our day begins with breakfast in the cafeteria at 9:00AM, followed by a special presentation in the auditorium at 9:30AM. Following the auditorium, special angels will visit the students' classrooms.  Please click here to register for this event.
Spring Concert
Our Spring Concert will be held on Thursday, May 17 at 12:30 PM. The concert features vocal arrangements by grades KDG through grade 5.

Band /String Concert
There will be a special band/string concert on Tuesday, May 15 at 8:30 AM. This program features band and strings students.  Parents of violin and band students are invited to attend.

May Crowning
May is the month of the Blessed Mother. We will be honoring Mary with our May Crowning ceremony on May 22 at 10:00 AM. This is a beautiful tribute to Mary, Queen of heaven and  earth! 
May Activities
The month of May characteristically presents challenges as baseball, recitals and outdoor activities demand students' attention. A strong finish to the school year relies heavily on making good choices, utilizing time management skills and remaining focused on learning. Your support is critical for success. Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to engage your children in learning to the end of the year.
End of the Year
The last day of school for grades 1 - 7 will be June 14. A schedule for the end of the year early dismissal days is forthcoming.
The last day of school for Kindergarten is June 5.
The last day of school for all Pre-K 4's is June 6.
The last day of school for Mrs.Milo's three year old class is June 7.
The last day of school for Mrs. Fahey's three year old class is June 8.

After School Program
The After School Program ends on June 8.  Please make arrangements for your child's care. Families who use the after school program need to be certain that their accounts are current. Payment for the after school program is expected every Friday. 

Monday, June 4:  Pick up from the after school program is at 5 PM.  It is Graduation Night for our school -off campus. All faculty and staff need to be in attendance. Please arrange for your child to be picked up early on this date. Your cooperation with this change is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
