A Message from the Principal
Congratulations to Sister Sally Norcross and Sister Catherine Sheehy, the first Principal and Assistant Principal of ASCS. They were honored this past weekend as Pillars of the Community by the Norwalk Exchange Club. Former and current staff, parents, and alumni were there to support and celebrate them. When asked if they were former or current teachers, students or parents, nearly a third of the room stood. 
Congratulations to Emily Lamphier,  Thomas Lucas, Stone Bidlack, and Keegan Bidlack  who participated in the "FoodFast - Be The Change" put on by St. Philip's on Saturday. Be the Change explores the reality of global hunger in the world. A full day event to help raise awareness with rallies, speakers, and service projects.
IOWA Testing
The IOWA Tests of Basic Skills and COGAT Cognitive Abilities Tests will be administered to all students in grades 1-7 of the Diocese of Bridgeport (including All Saints Catholic School ) beginning Monday, March 12.  Grades 2, 4, 6 and 7 will take the IOWA's and grades 1, 3, and 5 will take the COGATS. The areas tested are reading, writing, and math. The results of these tests will become part of your child's permanent record. The tests, given over a span of two weeks, test your child 's critical thinking skills and will give us valuable information about your child's strengths and weaknesses in language  arts and math. They will also assist the administration and teachers in assessing our curriculum maps to inform instruction.  It is important that your child eats a good breakfast and gets plenty of rest during testing time. It is also important that your child is on time for school each day. Any questions concerning testing can be directed to the assistant principal, Ms.Licare (

Financial Aid Deadline Approaching
The deadline to apply for financial aid through the Bishop's Scholarship Fund is March 15. If you have any questions about financial aid, please contact the bookkeeper, Pat Stapleton ( as soon as possible.

Thank you to all those families who have returned their registration forms for the next school year. It is important for you to return those forms to us now so that you will secure your spot for next year.

Music Man Performances
The Drama Club will be presenting three performances of "The Music Man" on Friday evening, March 23, at 7 PM , Saturday evening, March 24, at 7:00PM  and a matinee on Sunday, March 25, at 2 PM. Thank you to Mrs. Maurya Brown, our music teacher and drama club director. Music Man "Wish" Ad
We are offering an opportunity to send a note of congratulations to a Cast Member of The Music Man which will be included in the show's Playbill. All funds raised will directly support the Drama Club. Thank you.

Dress Down Reminder
8th Grade Dress Down Day Fundraiser - Wednesday, February 28th. Please bring $2 in to dress down. Thank you.
Art Show 
Please join us on March 23 for this year's "Art Show." Students in Grades PK3 through grade 5 will showcase their artwork in beautiful frames in the gym from 6PM to 8:30PM.  Doors will be open before the performance of "The Music Man" as well as during intermission. Frames with student art will be available for purchase for $25 by check made payable to All SaInts Catholic School. More information can be found on the school website.

Early Dismissal March 2
There will be an early dismissal on March 2.  It is an in-service day for teachers.  Dismissal for preschool is at 11:30AM. Dismissal for everyone else is at 11:45AM. Please be on time for pick up. The afterschool program will be held for working parents until 5:45 PM.

Health Reminders
We continue to sanitize the school daily. Remember: If your child is sick, PLEASE keep him/her home!
