Monday News 11/27/17

Congratulations to Joseph Troisi, Anthony Marini and James Kane whose team won the championship of the Norwalk Flag Football League, Middle School Division.  The team went 4-0 in the playoffs this past weekend then upset the 2 time defending champions.

Congratulations to AJ Trimboli and Emmett Kane whose team was runner up in the Norwalk Flag Football League, 4th/5th grade division.  In brutal weather conditions last Sunday under the lights, their 10-1 team came 1 touchdown shy of taking home 1st place.

to Kayla Angrand, KK Geignetter and Lila Pinho. Their Norwalk travel basketball team went undefeated out of 15 surrounding towns, to win the Thanksgiving Basketball tournament at University of New Haven this past weekend.

Christmas Classic Starts Thursday
The All Saints Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament begins on Thursday evening.  Join us on our home court to cheer on our teams ! Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children.  Food and drinks are available throughout the tournament which ends on December 10. You may also contact Dawn Geignetter ( with questions.
Volunteers Needed For Christmas Classic!
Many hands are needed to help with this annual event.Please sign up for a shift here.

Virtus Session at ASCS 11/29
All volunteers at our school need to be Virtus trained.  A Safe Environments Training Session will be offered at our school on Wednesday evening , November 29, at 5:30 PM. If you wish to volunteer in any capacity at our school, this is a requirement.  Without it you may not chaperone a field trip, volunteer in the classroom for a party, coach, volunteer for the basketball tournament, be a lunch mom or room mom,volunteer to read a book in your child's class - nothing! This training has been set up especially for our parents. Please attend if you need to be there.

All current volunteers at our school who were trained five years ago, need to be re-certified. The same holds for you! Please contact Mrs. Stapleton for information on recertification. (

Christmas Pageant
The Christmas Pageant ( PK4 - 8) will be held on Wednesday, December 20, in the auditorium at 12:30PM. Please check the school website for information concerning the Christmas Program for grades PK - 8 . Your cooperation with Mrs. Brown's requests is greatly appreciated.  For specific questions regarding costumes, props etc., please email Mrs.Brown, our music teacher. (

Early Dismissal This Friday
December 1 is an early dismissal day for all students. This is a planned in-service day for the faculty.  Dismissal is at 11:30AM for preschool and 11:45AM for grades K-8.  Please be on time for pick up. The after school program will be available for working parents until 5:45 PM.

No School Friday 12/8
School will be closed on Friday, December 8. It is the feast of the Immaculate Conception and a holy day of obligation in the Catholic Church. Please attend Mass at your local parish with your children to honor Mary on this special day.

Mark your calendars for the HSA's Polar  Express on Thursday evening, December 7.
