A Message from the Principal  
Saintly Spotlight
Congratulations to Mia Ribellino and Emily Lamphier!  Mia is the winner of the Cannondale bicycle for first prize and Emily is the winner of the $100 Amazon gift card for second prize in this year's annual " Trek for Tech Walk-a-thon 2016."The total amount collected for this event was $13,181, all of which goes directly to our school. Thank you for your continued generosity.

Congratulations to Isabella Cappuccia (3rd grade). She was chosen to perform in a figure skating exhibition for the opening ceremony of the new ice rink at Vets Park on November 10th.

Congratulations to Joey Hagerty, Grade 4. His 9U Norwalk Packers youth football team won the state championship on Sunday against Bridgeport Chargers with a score of 27-0. Their record this season was 11-0.  Jim Wrinn, Mrs. Wrinn's brother-in-law is the head coach. 
New Security Cameras
Here is some exciting news: Thanks to a donation from the Crane Foundation and some "friends of All Saints", we have been able to increase the security at the school. We now have additional cameras in various locations outside as well as inside the building. Your child's safety is important to us!
November School Mass This Week
The November school Mass will be this Thursday, November 10 ,at 10 AM.  The celebrant will be Father Sunil of St. Matthew Parish in Norwalk. Parents are always welcome to join us.

Veteran's Day Ceremony
All Saints will be celebrating Veterans Day in school on Friday, November 11. We will have a Prayer Service and flag raising ceremony at 8:00AM at the flagpole in front of the school. If you or any of your family members are veterans , please join us in song and prayer  in honor of all those who have served our country.
Middle School Career Fair This Friday
The All Saints Middle School Career Fair is scheduled for Friday, November 11th, from 9:30AM-11:00AM. This will undoubtedly be a rewarding experience for the students. Many of our students are unaware of the career opportunities available to them and this is a great way to provide them with first-hand knowledge of potential career paths. The goal for our students is to learn about a wide variety of career opportunities and how to pursue careers in the fields of the greatest interest to them. Events like these have a strong, lasting, and positive impact on middle school students.
Report Cards and Conferences Next Week
Parent -Teacher Conferences will be held on Nov 16-17.  There will be early dismissal on both days.  Evening conferences are available on Wednesday, November 16 only.  The after school program will be held as usual.

Report cards will be distributed on November 16-17 at Parent Teacher Conferences.  Tuition needs to be current for your child to receive a report card.  This includes July, August, September and October's tuition payments . All After School Program balances must also be paid in full.  Your timely payments are necessary for the school to meet its financial obligation.
The MSP Parent Portal for grades 5-8 is closed while  teachers prepare report cards for distribution. The portal will be open again on November 18.
All Saints Mass at St. Jerome November 13
There will be a special All Saints Catholic School Mass on Sunday, November 13 , at 9:15 AM at Saint Jerome's Parish in Norwalk. All students are invited to be in the procession and to participate in the Mass on that day. Please wear your school uniform. Please RSVP to Margaret Neville (
Thanksgiving Food Drive
November 14-18 is set aside for our Thanksgiving Food Drive. We need nonperishable Thanksgiving  items such as canned fruit , canned vegetables, canned yams, pasta , pasta sauce , stuffing mix , gravy, canned soups and dessert items.  If anyone would like to donate a turkey or canned ham, or if you or anyone you know needs a food basket this holiday season , please email me. Your generosity is appreciated.
Early Registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten
Early Registration for preschool and Kindergarten for 2017 is now open!  Current All Saints families who have a child eligible to attend our preschool(3 or 4 years old)  or Kindergarten next year are encouraged to take advantage of our Early Registration.   Forms were mailed home last week.  Please get your forms and deposits  in now to secure your spot for the 2017-2018 school year. Registration will be open to the public for these grade levels on December 1.
Open House for Realtors
We are having a special open house for realtors in November. If you are a realtor, please contact the school office so that we will be certain to include you. We would love for you to greet the other realtors as parents of our school and to share your experience with them.
Winter Gym Uniforms
Students should now be wearing  sweatpants for gym class.  Please put the ASCS gym shorts away. We will resume wearing shorts for gym class as well as  shorts for dress down days in April.  Please visit Dennis Uniform Co in Orange or online at for your school uniform needs.
Dismissal Changes
If during the course of the day you discover that you need to make a dismissal change for your child, please call the school office by 
1:30PM. We will place your child's name on the afternoon announcement list .  DO NOT send an email.
Mark your calendars!   
The All Saints Christmas Basketball Tournament will be held on December 1-11. Join us on our home court to cheer on our teams during this exciting 10 day event. All information regarding the Holiday tournament will be provided via the school website.
Looking ahead: The Christmas Pageant ( K-8) will be held on December 9 at 12:30 in the auditorium. All costumes need to be brought in by Monday after Thanksgiving break. Click here to see all of the costume requirements for the pageant.
