Congratulations to 4th graders Thibaud Jeandin and Chris Gordillo who participated in a two day competition at Rocky Hill representing NJSA travel soccer (U10 - Norwalk strikers). Their team finished 1st place from 5 teams in the highest bracket. 
Trek for Tech Walk-a-thon This Sunday!
Donate now and join us on Sunday to walk the track, have fun with other ASCS families, enjoy hot dogs and walking tacos, and take your chance at our first-ever "grade level" raffles!

For PreK-Kindergarten: *$25 Toys R Us Gift Card

Three separate raffles for Grades 1-3, Grades 4-5 and Middle School:
*"NO HOMEWORK" Pass for each month, November through May. (Certain restrictions of use will apply)

  • *4 tickets to the ASCS Saturday performance of Annie Jr.
  • *Gift Certificate for a Peak Performance after-school session
  • *Family Pass for every game of the ASCS Basketball Tournament, plus a $10 concession voucher (12/1-12/11)
A waiver is required for all families at the event. SAVE TIME! Fill it out ahead of timeand bring it with you on Sunday.

And if your student has donations of $25 or more, remember that Dress Down Week starts Monday, 10/24!

ASCS Trunk or Treat!
Sunday, October 30 from 5-7pm. Join us for this FREE event! Decorate your trunk/tailgate for Halloween - Wear your costumes - Bring plenty of treats for the trick-or-treaters! Grand Prize will be awarded for the most creative car!
Parking lot will open at 4:30 for set-up.
8th Grade Wreath Fundraiser
Once again this year, the 8th grade class will be selling Christmas wreaths and garlands.  The proceeds will go towards the end of the year graduation costs.  Please support the 8th grade and order a wreath.
All orders are due by Friday, November 4th for an expected delivery date between November 28th - December 5th. Make checks payable to ASCS. Any questions please contact Anne Green at
Middle School Halloween Dance
The Middle School Halloween Dance will be held on Saturday, October 29 from 7:00PM- 9:00PM in the school cafeteria . Tickets are now on sale for $10 in the school office. All middle school students must have a permission slip on file to attend.All information and permission slips can be found here.

Family Halloween Dance
Friday, October 28 from 6:30 to 8:00pm for families with students in preschool through grade 5. Tickets are $15 per family. The registration form is available below. All ticket orders are due by Tuesday, October 25. Wear your costume! It's a fun night of dancing, raffles, snacks, and fun for the whole family; so please plan to join us. Ticket forms can be found here.

Parents who would like to volunteer to bake, bring water or work the night of the event are asked to sign up on our volunteer website here.
