A Message from the Principal....

Thank you to the Fall Festival committee for all of their hard work in bringing this "fun raiser
" back again. With your support, we were able to raise over $3,000 for our school! The rain held off and everyone had a nice time. It was a wonderful way to welcome the fall season.

Trek for Tech
Our 6th Annual Walk-a-thon for Technology : "Trek for Tech"will be held at All Saints Catholic School on Sunday, October 23 from 12:00- 2:30. Our goal is to raise over $12,000 to upgrade the technology at our school. The proceeds this year will go toward transforming our current computer lab. We will be replacing all of the PCs with new chrome books.

Students who donate $25-$50 are entitled to participate in " Dress Down Week: October 24-28". Students who donate over $50 will receive one more Dress Down day: November 2. Online donation information will be sent out on Thursday.

Come out and join us on the track to show your school spirit ! This is a great community building event! Last year we had over 275 walkers. This year we would like to beat that number. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and plan to have lunch with us! Food, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.

Mrs Milo and the All Saints Catholic School Italian Club welcome all school families to march with them in the Columbus Day Parade in Stamford on Sunday, October 9. What a great opportunity to showcase our wonderful school! We'd love to see at least 50 families. Students need to be in full uniform. Dress Down Day for all students who participate on Monday, October 10. If you want to join us, email Mrs Milo as soon as possible. milo@ascs.net!

My Student's Progress-Parent Portal
All fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade parents should be viewing their child's grades on a daily basis on the school's parent portal, My Student's Progress. The portal serves as the vehicle of communication between you and the teacher. If you have a question about a score on an assessment, please ask your son or daughter about it first, then email the teacher. For those of you new to this system, progress reports are no longer sent to parents.

If you have some good news to share about your child's accomplishments outside of school, please email me so we can include them in the weekly news. A picture would be great!

Have a great week!
Mrs. Dunn
