A Message from the Principal
It was great to see so many families at our "Back to School Movie Night Under the Stars".  Special thanks to 7th Grade Girl Scout Troop 50140 for preparing the snacks for this event!
Back to School Night Tonight
We look forward to seeing everyone tonight at 6:30pm for our annual back to school night. If you're a new family to ASCS, we invite you to come at 6pm for an informal reception in the cafeteria. 
School Mass This Wednesday
Mass will be celebrated at our school on Wednesday, September 18, at 10:00am.  The celebrant will be Msgr. Walter Orlowski, pastor of St.Matthew Parish in Norwalk. Please come join us as we ask God's  blessings on the new school year. 

All students are to be in their full dress uniform  for Mass- no PE clothes. Middle school boys need to wear a white dress shirt and tie to Mass per the school dress code. 

Shopping Showcase Extravaganza News
* Packets were sent home last week.  Check your child's backpack!!!
* Every child received a packet since some 'opt-out' families still like to place an order.
* Every family is REQUIRED to either 'opt-out' for $100 or place an order for at least $200.  This is PER FAMILY (not per child!).

Fall Festival
Our Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, October 6, 12:00-4:00PM on the  front lawn. We will have food, crafters and vendors, a bake sale, dunk tank, bounce house, pony rides and a petting zoo, flowers, pumpkins, games and other surprises!  Come join us for some fun! Open House During Fall Fest
All Saints will be having an Open House on Sunday, October 6, during the Fall Festival from 12:00-4:00 for Grades PreK through grade 8. Please share this information with your family and friends. Applications for NEW student enrollment will be accepted after November 15 for the 2020-2021 school year.
Recycling Drive
Recycling Day is Saturday, September 28 from 9:00-2:00 pm.  All proceeds go toward the upkeep of the science park. Contact Tina Kovach ( if you have any questions or would like to help.

Cooking Class Now Offered After School for K-3
Does your child want to learn how to cook? Sign up for our newest offering, an cooking class for students in Grades K-3. Click here for the registration form. 
High School Fair
Our annual "High School Fair" for grades 7 and 8  will be held on September 25 at 9:15am in the school cafeteria.  Representatives from local Catholic, private and public schools will be on hand to meet wIth our students to answer questions and hand out information about their respective schools.  It is never too early for middle school families to begin thinking about the " next step" in their child's education. Parents are welcome to attend. 
Thank you to our guidance counselor , Mrs. Corrente, for organizing this event. Any 8th grade parents who have questions concerning the high school application process ( applications, dates, recommendations, testing, transcripts etc) need to contact Mrs.Corrente (
Volunteers and Virtus Training
The school needs volunteers. All volunteers need to be Virtus trained.  A Safe Environments Training Session will be offered at our school on Thursday evening, September 26, at 6:00pm.  If you wish to volunteer in any capacity at our school, this is a requirement.  This training has been set up especially for our parents. Please attend if you need to be there. 

Virtus Re-certification
All current volunteers at our school who were trained five years ago, need to be recertified. Please contact Mrs. Stapleton   ( for information on recertification or go to: for directions. 

Emergency Reminders
All parents are asked to have their cell phones nearby and turned on during the school day. This is just in case of an emergency or unplanned early dismissal. Please be certain that you have a contingency plan for pick up for your child on such days and that your child knows what it is.

Communication Updates
Please check your email and the school's website on a daily basis.  This is our means of communication of important information to parents.  The school will send emails and alerts as needed.

School Security
Security is important.  If you are visiting our school at any time , please be certain that you check in with the security guard or come into the school office to sign in and get a visitor's pass before going to the classroom.

Second Grade Parents
Attention second grade parents!  Please remember to contact your parish to register your child for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.  Sacramental preparation is done at your home parish according to Diocesan policy.
