September School Mass
Mass will be celebrated at our school on Wednesday, September 18, at 10:00am. The celebrant will be Msgr. Walter Orlowski, pastor of St.Matthew Parish in Norwalk. We ask God's  blessings on the new school year.

All students are to be in their full dress uniform  for Mass- no PE clothes. Middle school boys need to wear a white dress shirt and tie to Mass per the school dress code.
Shopping Showcase Extravaganza
* Packets were sent home last week.  Check your child's backpack!!!

* Every child received a packet since some opt-out families still like to place an order.

* Every family is REQUIRED to either opt-out for $100 or place an order for at least $200.  This is PER FAMILY (not per child!).

Clubs and Sports
Visit our school website for information on sports and club sign- ups. There are many fun activities to choose from this year! Registration is open online.

Emergency Reminders
All parents are asked to have their cell phones nearby and turned on during the school day. This is just in case of an emergency or unplanned early dismissal.  Please be certain that you have a contingency plan for pick up for your child on such days and that your child knows what it is.

Communication and School News
Please check your email and the school's website on a daily basis.  This is our means of communication of important information to parents.  The school will send emails and alerts as needed.

School Security
Security is important to all of us. If you are visiting our school at any time, please be certain that you check in with the security guard or come into the school office to sign in and get a visitor's pass before going to the classroom.

Join us as a Volunteer
The school needs volunteers. All volunteers need to be Virtus trained.  A Safe Environments Training Session will be offered at our school on Thursday evening, September 26, at 6:00pm.  If you wish to volunteer in any capacity at our school, this is a requirement.  This training has been set up especially for our parents. Please attend if you need to be there.

All current volunteers at our school who were trained five years ago, need to be recertified. Please contact Mrs. Stapleton   ( for information on recertification or go to: for directions.
Room Parents Needed
If you'd like to be a room parent for your child's class, please fill out this form and return it to the school office. Thank you.
Second Grade Parent Reminder
Attention second grade parents!  Please remember to contact your parish to register your child for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion.  Sacramental preparation is done at your home parish according to Diocesan policy.

Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Please obey the parking pattern and speed limit when driving through the back parking lot at dismissal.  Please park in a legal space and obey the cones, the chains and the "No Parking" signs. The teachers dismiss the children from the school building directly to you.  Please work with us as we strive to maintain a safe environment for all students.

Morning Drop-Off
Remember: When you drop off in the morning, drive all the way down to the last teacher. Be sure that your child exits the vehicle curbside. All Kindergarten through grade 8 students need to be dropped off at the front door.
ASCS Recycling Day
Recycling Day is Saturday, September 28 from 9:00-2:00 pm.  All proceeds go toward the upkeep of the science park.

If you have any news to share, please let us know so we can share it with our All Saints families in the Monday or Thursday news!
