Congratulations to Jack Smith (ASCS '18)! Jack was awarded the Trinity Catholic High School William Nayden Scholarship for $7,000 for next year. Way to go, Jack! 
Congratulations to all of our second graders who will be receiving their First Holy Communion during the month of May. God bless you!

Thank you to all of those families who prepared a table and to all who came out to support our International Night. We had many countries represented. It was a great evening! Thank you to Senora Perez for organizing the event. 


Special Angels Day Information

Special Angels Day
 is on Thursday, May 2, 2019.This year's Angels Day will be for grades Preschool through grade 5 only. May 2 is also an early dismissal day.

*All visitors should park in the rear parking lot and enter through the cafeteria doors closes to the gym. Those requiring handicapped entrance may enter through the front doors.* 
Our day begins with breakfast in the cafeteria at 9:00AM, followed by a special presentation in the auditorium at 9:30AM. Following the auditorium, special angels will visit the students' classrooms. Visit the school website to register for this event.

Flowers Available for Angels
Students who wish to purchase a rose for their "special angel" may do so at drop off in the school foyer. The cost is $5.00.

Schedule Reminder
Please mark your calendars . School will be open on Friday, May 10. It is a regular school day with extended day until 5:45 PM. 

May Crowning Ceremony
May is the month of the Blessed Mother. We will be honoring Mary with our May Crowning ceremony on May 20 at 10:00 AM. This is a beautiful tribute to Mary, Queen of heaven and earth! 

Spring Concert--Note Date Change
Our Spring Concert will be held on Friday, May 24 at 12:30 PM. The concert features vocal arrangements by grades KDG through grade 5.

Playground Hours
The playground will open this week after school until 2:45PM. However, the grassy areas, sidewalks, large fields and black top need to be cleared until the construction is completed for insurance purposes. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Field Day
Save the Date: June 6 is Field Day for grades 1 - 7. It is a full day of school. Volunteers are needed. Please consider helping out . Sign ups will be available soon.

Extended Day Program Dates
The Extended Day Program ends on May 31. Please make arrangements for your child's care for the last few days of the school year.

Lunch Program
The lunch program ends on May 31. Please pack your child a lunch and a drink for the last few days of the school year.

The month of May characteristically presents challenges as baseball, recitals and outdoor activities demand students' attention. A strong finish to the school year relies heavily on making good choices, utilizing time management skills and remaining focused on learning. Your support is critical for success. Thank you for partnering with us as we continue to engage your children in learning to the end of the year.
