Kindergarten through Grade 5

The love for learning continues as the future scholars enter our Lower School which consists of Kindergarten through Grade 5.
Intellectual curiosity is fostered through exposure to new experiences, critical thinking opportunities, and spiritual and social growth of all students in the Lower School.
In Kindergarten through Grade 1, learning is supported through numerous teaching styles. Visual aids, hands-on activities, and small group work is accompanied with individualized learning opportunities through programs such as Reading Eggs and Math Seeds. Through a balance of teacher directed and student led activities, children gain resilience to tackle new challenges.
In Grades 2 through 5, the comprehensive curriculum continues allowing students to grow with confidence in deepening their reading and writing skills, and building mathematical computation skills. Group projects are utilized to promote communication and collaboration among students. The program, Edmentum, is one way teachers meet individual needs.
All students in the Lower School have access to modern technology such as Promethean Boards in every classroom as well as individual ipads and ChromeBooks to enhance student learning opportunities.
In addition to our academic curriculum, all Lower School students further their holistic learning experience by attending weekly Spanish, art, music, computer, STEAM, and physical education classes. Daily prayer, religious lessons and Masses help guide us in furthering our future scholars to carry out our Mission of an All Saints Catholic School education.
